Hello! I'm Leo, a writer, photographer and recent graduate from Northern Arizona University.
I consider myself a multi-platform journalist, as I love to bounce between writing, photography, video and podcasting to tell my stories. I developed most of these skills working for NAU's student newspaper, The Lumberjack, where I served as a writer, photographer, culture editor, visuals director and editor-in-chief.
My passion lies in reporting on environmental justice and Indigenous affairs, two beats I greatly familiarized myself with in Flagstaff, Arizona. My goal is to continue documenting important issues relating to climate, energy, public lands and rural communities.
